Also, heavier bus-type vehicles (with an average mass of 13,000 kg or 13 tonnes) at an impact speed of 70 km/h. The tests that accredit this type of barrier are the TB11 type tests for the restraint of light vehicles. TB51 applies to restraint systems for heavier vehicles such as buses. BN4 safety barriers for restraining light vehicles (900 kg to 13 tons) have a high angle restraint level: the angle of impact is 20 degrees.
